TRACEY MUNN

AUTHOR BIO

Tracey Munn may be a first-time children’s author, but she’s no stranger to storytelling. An award-winning Marketing Director with over 20 years’ experience in copywriting and publishing articles for marketing journals, Tracey now brings her creativity and heart to the world of children’s books.

Based in the picturesque town of Moama, NSW, Tracey is a proud mum to Lachie and Hollie, mother-in-law and friend to Micaela, Nan to little Poppy, and wife to Shane. Her love for her family — and her newfound passion for golf — became the inspiration behind The Adventures of Gordon the Golf Cart.

The idea for her debut book, The Missing Golf Ball, was sparked during Tracey’s very first visit to Rich River Golf Course with her best Moama friend Jan — and Jan’s trusty golf cart. What began as a fun idea quickly turned into a joyful reality with the help of talented UK-based children’s illustrator, Hannah Wood.

“With a background in Psychology and a deep love for spending time with my family, I wanted to create a story that encourages young children to put down the screens and discover the joy of golf — not just as a game, but as a way to bond with their golf-loving parents, grandparents and friends,” says Tracey.

“I’m beyond grateful for the support from Little Steps Publishing, Golf Australia, Rich River Golf Club, and my incredible circle of family, friends (and Bubbles & Books Fam!) who have backed this dream from the start.”

Let’s roll!
